Academic and non-academic appointments of 50% or more 33.88%
Academic and non-academic appointments of less than 50% 13.08%
Most graduate students and other student employees 7.68%

Indirect Cost Rates*
Effective July 1, 2003, the newly negotiated indirect cost rates are:

Organized research 55.00%
Clinical drug trials 25.00%
The date of the predetermined agreement for these rates is 7/1/03 through 6/30/06

*Indirect Cost Rates (ICR) is now being called F&A Rates (Facilities and Administrative Rates).

Proposal Approval Form (PAF)

The Proposal Approval Form (PAF) is used on all grants/research contracts which are sent into Chicago.
