Dr. Kouris specializes in pediatric and developmental neuropsychiatry.
He is currently Medical Director of the Jack Mabley Developmental
Center, for the Illinois Department of Human Services. He
also serves as mental health consultant to the UIC Family
Health Center, as well as a variety of community programs,
social service agencies, school districts and courts in the
region. His primary interest is national healthcare reform.

For over 30 years, Dr. Modir has served the needs of the severely,
chronically mentally ill at Singer Mental Health and Developmental
Center, in Rockford. Dr. Modir has clinical interests in treating
severe depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder,
and psychotic disorders. He also has special interest in forensic
issues and is a certified forensic examiner. He coordinates
the Tuesday Morning Seminar during the M3 clerkship.

Dr. Magnus has a wide-ranging practice treating adults, adolescents,
and families utilizing a flexible approach with a variety
of techniques. He has particular interest in difficult-to-diagnose
anxiety in men, and in the treatment of sexual disorders and
complicated forms of depressive illnesses. He also uses hypnotic
approaches in pain management and smoking cessation. Teaching
activities include participation in M3 seminars and clinical
discussion groups.

Dr. Garcia specializes in general adult and adolescent psychiatry,
with an interest in mood disorders. With experience in group
therapy, emergency psychiatric treatment and research, Dr.
Garcia pursues a variety of clinical interests including psychodynamic
psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. He also teaches third-year
medical students on the adult and adolescent psychiatry units
at Singer Mental Health and Development Center.

· Graduate Education: Master's in rehabilitation counseling,
Southern Illinois University
Ms. Garry counsels individuals, couples and families and sexual
minorities in a variety of areas, including addiction recovery,
eating disorders, anxiety disorders and depression. She is
a nationally certified addictions counselor and is particularly
experienced in helping impaired professionals. She is fluent
in Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients.
