Alumni
Assisting Applicants Program (AAA)
Students
can get advice from alumni throughout the country.
The
Alumni Assisting Applicants (AAA) for Residency Program at
the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
gives students the opportunity to talk with alumni to get
the inside track on what to expect in a particular specialty
or residency program.
Here's
how it works -
The
AAA program connects students with alumni who can help them
successfully complete the residency match process. Alumni
will be able to help students explore their specialty interest,
obtain a sense of the life and career in a specific specialty,
and discuss residency programs. Medical students will be given
the opportunity to contact alumni via e-mail, fax, letters,
telephone calls and informal get-togethers.
Students
interested in the program should contact Helen Gulley in the
Office of Student & Alumni Affairs at 815-395-5628 or
by e-mail to heleng@uic.edu
.
Thanks!
We
appreciate that Rockford graduates make a practice of passing
along their knowledge to the medical students who are following
in their footsteps.
Your
participation is appreciated!
